By Air

There are 3 different airports in Catalunya. The most important airport is Barcelona's, but for specific companies you may arrive at Reus or Girona. From the airport you can easily reach Barcelona, from where you can head for Terrassa. 

Barcelona airport (el Prat) 

Barcelona airport is 40 km away from Terrassa. It is the biggest airport in Catalunya and where the most common companies operate as well as Ryanair (besides Girona and Reus airports). It has 2 terminals linked by a free shuttle bus service. Different public transports reach this airport:

- Train (RENFE): There is a train station in Terminal 2. In case you are arriving at Terminal 1, there is a free shuttle service to the train station. You can take there R2nord  line to Barcelona Sants station. There you can take the R4 line trains bound for Terrassa and Manresa. In the airport, you should buy the ticket directly to Terrassa (3€) and stop there.

- Bus: There are many ways to get to the heart of Barcelona. The easiest one is to take the Aerobús (either the A1 and A2 lines, depending on the terminal you arrive) to get to Plaça Catalunya (city centre). There, you can take the Renfe R4 line direction Terrassa/Manresa or the FGC S1 line direction Terrassa/Rambla.

- Taxi: In front of each terminal you have a taxi station. Needless to say, this is the most expensive option.

- By car: We will try to pick as many of you as possible by car in Barcelona - El Prat airport. We may not be available to get all of you, but we'll try our best.

Girona airport 

Girona airport is 93 km from Terrassa. It is the second airport in importance and it has one terminal. You can get to Barcelona by bus (12€). If you want to go to Terrassa, you must go to Arc the Triomf Train Station and take the R4 train to Terrassa. You have a taxi station too.

Reus airport

Reus airport is 112 km from Terrassa. It is the least important airport, with one terminal. You can get to Barcelona by bus (12,50€). Then you can get to Terrassa taking the R4 train from Sants station. You have a taxi station too.

By Train

It would be useful to get to "Estació de Sants" in Barcelona. From there you can take:

Elipsos International Trains: Paris, Milan and Zürich.

Talgo Day Train from France to Spain: France.

Trains from Spain to Portugal and Italy.

Reach Terrassa

Once you have arrived at Barcelona, there are different options to get to Terrassa:

1. Rodalies de Catalunya (operated by RENFE): In order to get to Terrassa, you have to take R4 line. You can do it in Sants station, Plaça Catalunya station or Arc de Triomf Station. Be careful you not to take the right line in the wrong direction. Trains destination is either Terrassa or Manresa. Finally, you should get off at "Terrassa" and not "Terrassa Est". Somebody from the organisation will be waiting for you there.
2. Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC): You can take these trains from Plaça Catalunya, in which there is a link with RENFE trains. There, you may take S1 line that would take you to Terrassa (40 minutes), where someone from the organization will be waiting for you. You can find Ferrocarrils' timetables here.
